The inspiration for this work began as a young traveler with a passion for storytelling. I was fortunate to spend several summers abroad living with families with a camera in hand. After graduating from University of Miami with a double-major in communications and Spanish (go Ganes), I kicked off my career as a freelance PA on various films, documentaries, and reality tv sets around the country. Gradually, I developed a niche in travel, producing dozens of shows for networks like NBC, CBS, and Travel Channel where we showcased the best safaris in Africa, treetop trekking in Costa Rica, and pho in Vietnam. A career highlight was five years directing, producing, and casting HGTV's "House Hunters International", America's favorite tv series about expats searching for a home abroad. It didn't take long before I followed in my casts' footsteps, living "la dolce vita" in Italy where I built an international network, learned another language, and how to speak with my hands 🤌🏼.​
