The inspiration for this work began for our founder, Samantha, as a young traveler with a passion for storytelling. She was fortunate to spend several summers abroad living with families with a camera in hand. After graduating from University of Miami with a double-major in communications and Spanish (go Canes), she began her career as a freelance PA on various films, documentaries, and reality tv sets around the country. Gradually, she developed a niche in travel, producing dozens of shows for networks like NBC, CBS, and Travel Channel showcasing the best safaris in Africa, treetop trekking in Costa Rica, and pho in Vietnam. A career highlight was five years directing, producing, and casting HGTV's "House Hunters International", America's favorite tv series about expats searching for a home abroad. It didn't take long before Samantha followed in her casts' footsteps, living "la dolce vita" in Italy where she built an international network, learned another language, and how to speak with her hands 🤌🏼.​
